Friendly club meeting on the 2nd Monday of the month, at 7.30 pm, for presentations on garden and nature related topics, along with garden visits in Summer. You don’t need to be a knowledgeable gardener to join us, just have an interest in plants and gardens. Why not come as a visitor for only £1.50 and find out more.

This friendly group of painters meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings of each month. Tuition is free; members paying for the cost of the hall and any equipment needed. Different subjects and styles of painting/drawing are explored as well as the technicalities of perspective etc. Most subjects are covered, from still life to landscapes, and even the occasional portrait class with a model. The sessions are easy going with the emphasis on the enjoyment of learning and improving.

Mushin School of Martial Arts
Mushin School of Martial Arts teach traditional Japanese Arts ranging from Karate (which is the art everybody starts with) to Jujutsu, taijustui, Aikido, Katana (Japanese Sword) etc and at a higher level you will also learn to use nunchu, tonfa and the stick arts.
The first class is free of charge after which the classes are pay as you go at £5 per person, per session.
We follow a very strict set of rules and procedures, self test twice a week, are fully insured, hold Enhanced DBS’s, First Aid, mental health and NSPCC child protection certificates. We also have a very comprehensive COVID 19 Risk assessment ensuring the safety and wellbeing of us, our students and anybody else who hires the hall.
