We are pleased to announce that Flicks in the Sticks is starting again on August 21st. In order for this to happen and to meet stringent Government guidelines, we have to make a number of changes to way in which it will organised. Most importantly you will need to book a ticket via the book now button below or ticketsource.co.uk/offton-willisham-village-hall , where you will be able to reserve a seat and pay for your tickets which can be printed or downloaded to your phone. Using the booking system will provide two significant benefits; the first being the removal of the need to handle cash (which is a known vector for the CV19 virus) and, secondly, provides a secure method to meet the government’s guideline of storing contact details of event attendees for 21 days.
Safety and social distancing are very important to us so we have;
· Arranged the seats in two’s and three’s in a socially distanced manner, if you are attending on your own the seat(s) beside you must remain empty.
· Introduced a one way system with entry through the main doors and exit via the fire exit where there will be hand sanitiser stations available.
· Closed the ladies and gents toilets with the disabled toilet remaining open. The disabled toilet will be cleansed before the event and suitable cleansing products will be available for users to sanitise the area as required.
· Closed the kitchen and Bar so at the moment no ice creams or drinks will be available and you are of course welcome to bring your own drinks and nibbles.
Currently Government guidelines mandate the wearing of a face covering indoors.
As you can see it’s not going to be the same but we hope it will remain an enjoyable night out and chance to see friends albeit socially distanced and watch a good film in the company of others.
